Privacy policy

The data controller is Monedra Group SA, Route de Belmont 25, 1093 La Conversion, Switzerland (UID CHE-380.268.491), registered seat in Lutry.

This policy describes the processing of personal data carried out by the marmott.ai website. As the Marmott AI service is not open yet, the only processing performed today is running the waitlist. This page will be extended before launch to cover the service itself.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist we record:

• your email address;
• optionally, the profile you select (individual, small business, large organisation);
• optionally, the plan you are interested in, if you sign up from the pricing page;
• the page you signed up from;
• the date and time of your consent, along with the exact wording you consented to;
• your approximate country, derived from the connection;
• a random confirmation token and the confirmation date of your address, needed for the double opt-in described below.

We do not keep your IP address, your browser, or any advertising identifier.

Why

To tell you when Marmott AI opens, and to understand which plans interest the people who sign up. The legal basis is your consent (art. 6 FADP; art. 6(1)(a) GDPR where it applies).

The confirmation email

Right after you sign up we send a single transactional email containing a confirmation link. It exists to verify that the address entered is really yours — without that step, a mistyped address, or one entered by someone else, would stay on the list.

That email is dispatched by Cloudflare Email Sending, the same provider that already hosts this site and the waitlist. No other recipient or provider is involved. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link.

Where your data is stored

The waitlist is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database hosted in Western Europe. Cloudflare is a US company: we state that explicitly rather than leaving it out.

For how long

Until the service opens, then twelve months at most — or until you unsubscribe, if that happens sooner.

What we do not do

We do not sell your address, do not share it for advertising, and do not send you marketing campaigns. You will receive one announcement, at launch.

Your rights

You may at any time request access to, correction of, deletion of or portability of your data, and object to its processing. Write to privacy@marmott.ai: we respond within thirty days.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

Cookies

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics. Your light or dark theme choice is kept in your browser’s local storage and never leaves your device.
